Banyan Group has opened the Banyan Tree Zhuhai Phoenix Bay, expanding its presence in China’s Greater Bay Area.

Banyan Group has announced the opening of Banyan Tree Zhuhai Phoenix Bay, a new resort located in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province. This development is part of the company’s strategy to strengthen its presence in the Greater Bay Area of China.

The resort is situated between hills and the South China Sea, forming a dual-branded complex with the adjacent Angsana Zhuhai Phoenix Bay. The location offers views of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge and the Zhuhai Grand Theatre, with convenient access to Gongbei Port and other city landmarks.

Banyan Tree Zhuhai Phoenix Bay features 83 guestrooms and suites. The accommodations are designed to integrate with the surrounding landscape, offering views of the mountains or the sea. Some suites include private pools or onsen-style hot springs.

The resort’s dining options include XUN, a restaurant specializing in Minnan cuisine, and RONG, which serves an à la carte breakfast menu. BANG, a whisky and grill bar, and THE BUTTER, offering Chinese desserts, are also available. The lobby lounge, MIRROR, provides a setting for tea and conversation.

The Banyan Tree Spa at the resort includes seven ocean-view treatment rooms. Additional wellness facilities include a cliffside hot spring, an infinity pool, and an ocean-view gym. Outdoor activities such as Wing Chun martial arts and beach meditation are also offered.

The resort features the Phoenix Ballroom, which can accommodate a variety of events, and a viewing terrace with a sky lawn.

This opening marks Banyan Group’s continued expansion in China, where it currently operates 37 hotels. The company is also preparing for the grand opening of its 100th hotel, Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree, in Singapore later this month.
