One of, if not the, most popular Toronto Blue Jays players, Ernie Clement got engaged to his longtime girlfriend Stefanie Brejcha.
“The best guy, the best friends, and the best family. Feeling all the love this weekend in the most special spot in the world. Now let’s do this thing!!!” Brejcha announced, on social media, alongside photos of the engagement party at a restaurant inside The Arcade in Cleveland, Ohio.
Rumours surfaced in May that Clement and Brejcha had gotten engaged, but it seems those reports were simply a little premature.
Brejcha and Clement are believed to have met in Cleveland while Clement was playing for the Guardians.
Clement grew up in Rochester, New York, where he still lives during the off-season while Brejcha’s hometown is Mentor, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland. He was drafted by Cleveland in 2017 and was with the team until 2022.
