Bernardus Lodge & Spa has appointed Benjamin Duverge as General Manager. Duverge joins the Carmel Valley property from Hotel Nia, another Ensemble-managed hotel. He brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in luxury urban hotels, destination resorts, and global hospitality brands, with previous senior roles at The Clift Royal Sonesta, The Liberty, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Boston, Hotel Zetta, and The Marker San Francisco, as well as experience in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East.
In his new role, Duverge will lead the continued evolution of Bernardus Lodge & Spa, focusing on guest experience and building on the property’s reputation for hospitality, culinary excellence, and wine country experiences. The property, managed by Ensemble, is located in Carmel Valley.
