Jason Priestley, who most people know as Brandon Walsh from the popular 1990s TV series Beverly Hills, 90210, recently faced a major mishap during his latest trip with his kids, making a serious callout so that others don’t go through the same thing.

The 56-year-old took to Instagram on Dec. 26 to share a disgruntled selfie of himself and his two kids, Ava and Dashiell, at the airport, with a luggage cart filled with their bags nearby.

In the caption, Priestley explained the frustrating situation as his family waited in Salt Lake City Airport. He wrote, “reserved a car @hertz and when we got there, no car… and they couldn’t tell me when they would have one…”

Going on, the actor bluntly called it the “worst rental car experience I’ve ever had,” before declaring that he wouldn’t be using the service again, writing, “I’ve been a Hertz Gold member for 25 years… no more… #neverrentingfromhertzagain #hertzsucks.”

In the comments, a fan suggested, “Uber?”, to which Priestley replied, “In one now!”

Other fans began to share their own experiences with the rental car company, such as those who said, “I’ve had a similar experience with the same company. Never again!” and “The same thing happened to me in Hawaii a few weeks ago.”

“The absolute WORST way to start a vacation! So frustrating!!” commented a different fan, sympathizing with the TV star, while another wrote, “That is awful! I hope you get where you need to be soon, and safe 🤞.”

Some people revealed their experiences with the same situation at other companies as well, saying, “Yep, pretty much works that way with all the car rental places,” as others suggested alternative companies to try in the future.

It’s unclear exactly why Priestley and his two kids were traveling to Salt Lake City, Utah, but it likely has to do with the holidays. The actor, his kids, and his wife, Naomi Lowde-Priestley, are based in Nashville, Tenn., moving there from Los Angeles, Calif., a few years ago.

While Priestley faced a tough challenge on his December travels, he recently got some great news, as his show, Private Eyes West Coast, was renewed for Season 2 before the first season even premiered. It stars Priestley and Cindy Sampson and is a spinoff of the series Private Eyes.
