Things are going to look very familiar next week on Beyond the Gates for fans hoping for fresh drama as the series takes another holiday week off of airing new episodes.

Episode 124, originally believed to air on September 1st, will now premiere on September 8, as the popular CBS soap opera will air a week of repeats. Beyond the Gates will re-air episodes 45-49, which was the culmination of the Ted and Nicole Wedding Anniversary / Leslie/Dana reveal.

This will not be the first time the daytime drama has taken a week off since its premiere earlier this year. As Parade previously reported back on June 30– July 4 the soap re-aired its premiere week in order to give fans the opportunity to reexperience the historic episodes.

While it is typical for soaps to take off for a single holiday, often airing a special repeat episode, Beyond the Gates stands out as the only soap to take off the entire holiday week.

Beyond the Gates recently filmed its 200thepisode, with many actors confirming that they are done filming for season 1. Season 2 of the soap opera is expected to air in early 2026.

CBS officially describes Beyond the Gates as a soap opera that is “set in a leafy Maryland suburb just outside of Washington, D.C., in one the most affluent African American counties in the United States; a posh gated community with winding tree-lined streets and luxurious mansions to call home. At the center of this community are the Duprees, a powerful and prestigious multi-generational family that is the very definition of Black royalty. But behind these pristine walls and lush, manicured gardens are juicy secrets and scandals waiting to be uncovered. And those who live outside these gates are watching closely. These are the places where our characters live, love, work and play. Those who have “made it” and those who haven’t are all trying to navigate life … and some with more grace than others.
