Beyond the Gates star Mike Manning has had a busy year, and it’s only getting busier. The actor recently announced the premiere of his upcoming pilot, and fans now have a first look at the trailer.

The Psionicum is described as “At the world’s seventh-most-famous college of the paranormal, a documentary crew follows the lives of students and faculty as they stumble through life, love, and supernatural shenanigans.”

The shows official website posted a trailer for the series which can be viewed below.

The 24 minute pilot will premiere at Dances with Films festival on June 21.

Manning recently took to social media to address the rumors in an Instagram story, writing, “Thanks for the concern kids but Smitty ain’t leaving the show. Love you. If you’re press, plz stop spreading misinformation. The world is chaotic enough.”

The actor followed his previous statement up on X (formerly twitter) saying, “Not sure where the rumor started, but let’s lay it to rest together shall we? Ironic that a fictional journalist is looped into fake news. Thanks to the #beyondthegates fans who brought this to my attention.

Question: Who has two feet, loves his family, sometimes wears glasses, secretly likes to dance, occasionally rocks a tailored suit, appreciates a clean house (but not as much as Nicole) and isn’t leaving Fairmont Crest anytime soon? Answer: Smitty.

Just wanted to lay rumors to rest. Love you all. Mike / “Smitty” “
