Beyond the Gates star Daphnée Duplaix turned heads at the 57th Annual NAACP Image Awards red carpet.
Duplaix wore a floor-length black evening gown featuring sheer with sequined vertical panels that complemented her silhouette with an elegant finish.
She paired the look with a sparkling black clutch and minimal jewelry, allowing the gown to remain the focal point.
Fans could not get enough of Duplaix look on social media. One user wrote on X, “my girl ATE!” while another fan posted a gif of a basketball player liking and retweeting post with the caption, “Me going through liking every post of Daphnee.”

Duplaix has been central to several major storylines during Beyond the Gates’ first year as Dr. Nicole Richardson Dupree.
When the series began, Nicole was married to Dr. Ted Richardson (then Maurice Johnson, now Keith. D. Robinson). The couple share two children, Kat Richardson (Colby Nixon) and Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon), who is raising a family with Bradley ‘Smitty’ Smith (Mike Manning) and their two adopted children.
The marriage later unraveled after it was revealed that Ted had an affair with Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant), Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle). The secret was exposed during Nicole and Ted’s wedding anniversary celebration.
Since then, Nicole has embraced single life and begun dating again, including a growing connection with Dr. Kial Rollins (Greg Vaughan) and Dr. Carlton Fitzgerald (Robert Christopher Riley)
Elsewhere in Nicole’s life, her mother Anita Dupree (Tamra Tunie) was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer.
Because the disease can be hereditary, Nicole was tested for the BRCA gene mutation. While her results were negative, her sister Dani Dupree Richardson (Karla Mosley) tested positive, bringing new challenges for the family.
The 57th annual NAACP Image Awards airs on February 28, 2026 on BET and CBS. The event will be hosted by Deon Cole.
