It looks like there’s no bad blood between Billy Ray Cyrus and his daughter Noah Cyrus. The country star, 63, has faced rumors of tension with some of his children in recent years — especially following his 2022 divorce from Tish Cyrus.
However, a new on-stage reunion with Noah may signal a major step toward reconciliation. On Friday, July 18, Noah, 25, celebrated the release of her latest album, I Want My Loved Ones to Go with Me, with a performance at London’s Islington Assembly Hall.
During the show, she surprised the crowd by inviting a special guest to join her — her father. Billy Ray took the stage to perform two songs alongside his youngest daughter, including their duet “Stand Still.”
After the concert, Noah posted footage from the emotional performance to her Instagram, thanking her dad for the special moment.
“Thank you always to my incredibly talented band and to my father, who I love so dearly, for joining us,” she said in the post. “We got to sing ‘Stand Still’ and ‘With You,’ which is actually a song my father wrote from his childhood bedroom and was one of the first songs he ever wrote.”
She also explained the personal meaning behind the second track. “With You” has “been a song of comfort that he’s sung to me since I was a little kid and it meant so much to me to be singing it together and share that moment with one another.”
Noah went on to say that “It’s always been the gift of music that’s brought us together,” seemingly confirming that the father-daughter pair have repaired their relationship.
The reunion comes after years of public tension within the Cyrus family. In January 2025, Billy Ray’s son, Trace Cyrus, reportedly expressed concern about his father in a now-expired Instagram Story.
The post came days after a viral video surfaced showing the country star struggling to lip-sync to “Achy Breaky Heart” during a performance at the Liberty Ball.
“Me and the girls have been genuinely worried about you for years but you’ve pushed all of us away,” Trace wrote. “Noah desperately has wanted you to be a part of her life, and you haven’t even been there for her.”
Despite the rocky history, it now appears that Billy Ray and Noah are reconnecting — at least through their shared love of music.
