The Black Ops 7 beta was scheduled to finish at 10 a.m. PDT on Wednesday, but that deadline has been pushed back by 24 hours, meaning players now have until Thursday to play the next Call of Duty game.

To entice more players in between now and then, Treyarch has also permanently enabled double XP until the end of the beta. That includes 2x Weapon XP too, so everyone has a chance to reach the level 30 cap and unlock everything the beta has to offer. We’d recommend checking out some of the best guns in the Black Ops 7 beta and maxing them out to see their true power if you get the chance. Make sure you also know how to play the Black Ops 7 beta if you haven’t jumped in to check it out yet.

If you’ve seen everything the existing slate of maps in the beta has to offer, you’ll also be pleased to know a sixth and final map is being added for this final 48-hour window. Toshin, set in a downtown Japanese shopping district with a wrecked monorail and illuminated advertising boards everywhere, is the locale we’ll be duking it out in.

This comes shortly after we saw Blackheart added to the beta on Sunday, a small map set on a nautical drilling platform with the major chokepoint coming in the middle, where a rotating platform sits amidst the only indoor section. Open Search & Destroy and Hardcore Moshpit were both added as playlists to the beta too, following in the footsteps of Open Moshpit the day before.

Returning to Black Ops 6 as soon as the beta finishes? Season 6 will begin shortly after the beta concludes, with “Halloween fun just around the corner.” Read more about the updates to the beta on the official Call of Duty blog.
