Shelton promoted the upcoming release on social media on June 26, sharing some photos taken by photographer Jamie Wendt at the video shoot with the message, “Tomorrow. Stay Country Or Die Tryin’ Official Video. 1PM ET / 12PM CT.”

“Stay Country or Die Tryin'” is the second single released from Shelton’s latest album, For Recreational Use Only. The first single, called “Texas,” came out in late 2024 ahead of the album’s official release in May 2025.
