Britney Spears feels ‘blessed’ now that she’s reunited with her mother, Lynn Spears.
In an Instagram post shared Thursday, Britney, 41, told her 42 million followers that her mother visited her home for the first time in three years.

Spears’ mother and daughter have had a strained relationship in public over the years. In July 2022, Britney slammed Lynn, 68, on social media. abuse her During her infamous 13-year tenure as guardian, she also claimed Lynn mastermind. Ms. Lin has denied both charges.
When Britney married Asghari in June 2022, neither Lynn nor Britney’s father nor their two sons were present.

Britney Spears was placed in guardianship on February 1, 2008 by her father, Jamie Spears, and his attorney, Andrew M. Wallet. The guardianship came in a series of bizarre public acts for Mr. Spears that her family viewed as a mental breakdown. (Spears herself has since claimed that her actions were harmless.)
In November 2021, amidst the #FreeBritney movement, a judge ruled to terminate Spears’ guardianship.
