Hoping to tap into the pickleball craze and healthier fast-food options, Burger King in Japan has introduced the new Pickleball Burger.

It consists of three beef patties, 11 pickles and rice-patty buns.  The new menu items is a collaboration between Burger King Japan and the Pickleball Japan Federation.

A photo of the new burger option was shared on Instagram on May 29 by the Food Beast account, which asked followers, “Would you try this?!?”

Reaction was mixed.

“I’ll take one for the team and go try it,” the CruchBros responded.

“Need,” another fan added.

“I’m telling you a really good handmade hamburger patty over rice is soo noice,” another person weighed in.

Another question the seemingly random number of pickles included on the new burger. “What an odd number of pickles,” they wrote.

Some others weren’t as enthused.

“Bad beef, old soggy pickles, and rice that’s probably somehow raw and overcooked at the same time? That’s gonna be a no from me, dawg,” another posted.

When another commenter questioned that response, writing, “bro speaks like he eats that everyday day from experience,” the first skeptical poster reconsidered.

“wouldn’t be the worst thing diet wise, rice is a top 3 carb source, pickles have no calories, and you get your protein and fat from the burger. The chemicals would catch up with you though.”
