Buses cancelled in Waterloo Region, Guelph Tuesday but schools are open
School buses in the Waterloo area and Guelph were canceled on Tuesday, but public and Catholic schools remain open, the local school board said.
“As always, families can choose to keep their children at home if they feel it is unsafe to attend school,” the Waterloo Area School Board also notes.
“If you leave your child at home, please call the school and report the absence.”
Snow events declared in Kitchener, Cambridge and Waterloo
Waterloo’s board of directors also said on Twitter that an extended day program and a childcare center are also open.
It also said that all inter-school sports and competitions have been cancelled.
