The Central Okanagan Search and Rescue rescued an injured camper from Bucan Bay along the eastern shore of Okanagan Lake on Sunday morning.
COSAR said one of the two female campers was injured Saturday night while hiking from Okanagan Mountain Park to Bukan Bay.
Two campers tended to their injuries overnight. In the morning, the injured woman found herself unable to walk and they both called her RCMP, who contacted her COSAR.
COSAR responded with a rescue boat and four members. Two of her other members remained Incident Commanders.
A boat team arrived at the camper and the injured woman was taken to hospital.
