Here are just a few “perfect for autumn” movies coming to the streaming platform this September:

Into the Fire: The Lost Daughter

A documentary about love and loss, directed by Ryan White. Into the Fire was produced by Charlize Theron and follows Cathy Terkanian, a woman who discovers that the daughter she gave up for adoption has disappeared.

Binge it all on September 12th, when it hits Netflix.

Uglies

Based on the book by Scott Westerfeld, Uglies stars Joey King, Keith Powers, Chase Stokes, Brianne Tju, Jan Luis, Charmin Lee and Laverne Cox.

Set to debut on September 13th, the film follows Tally, a 16-year-old eager to join the rest of society in a world where plastic surgery is imposed at a young age. When her friend runs away, however, she will embark on a journey that changes everything.

His Three Daughters

Described as “tense, touching, and funny,” His Three Daughters follows a group of estranged sisters as they care for their father in a New York Apartment.

The film stars Natasha Lyonne, Elizabeth Olsen, Carrie Coon, Rudy Galvan, Jose Febus, Jasmine Bracey, Jay O. Sanders, and Jovan Adepo.

When: September 20th, 2024 (in select theatres September 6th)

Jailbreak: Love on the Run

Love true crime? Jailbreak: Love on The Run rehashes the story of Vicky White, a respected corrections officer who aids the escape of a violent felon.

When: September 25th, 2024

Will & Harper

Rez Ball

Set in Chuska, New Mexico, Rez Ball follows a high school basketball team rich in Native American Heritage.

After the loss of their star player, the team must unite if they want to keep their dreams of a state championship alive.
