Along with a photo of the newly engaged couple kissing, Liu shared a longer, heartfelt caption.
“From weekends in Paris, day trips to Palm Springs, long nights on set, afternoons vegging on the couch and everything in between, I choose you forever and always,” he stated.

Hsu is the senior digital marketing manager at Interscope Records in Los Angeles. In 2022, she was named one of Forbes’ 30 Under 30 people in the music category. She leads “all things digital and social” for artists like Billie Eilish and Lady Gaga. USA Today reported that the pair started dating that same year and have been seen together at numerous red carpet events.
“Happy birthday to my favourite person in the world!” wrote Liu in a post on Aug. 8, 2024. “Our lives are just like this Benson Boone song… it’s loud as hell and there’s so much going on but dammit when we hit those high notes it’s just magic. Thank you for all the beautiful things that we’ve done.”
Liu, who grew up in Mississauga, Ont., got his first big break in the Canadian sitcom Kim’s Convenience, which aired on CBC. In 2019, he was cast as the first Asian superhero in the Marvel franchise.
