  • Cardiff hotel bookings have surged to nearly 90% occupancy as the Oasis Live ’25 tour approaches, significantly higher than last year.
  • The tour is boosting hotel occupancy rates not only in Cardiff but also in other cities across Europe, and further increases are expected as the concert dates approach.

CoStar reports that as the Oasis Live ’25 tour gears up to start in early July, Cardiff is experiencing a significant spike in hotel bookings, with occupancy rates nearing 90%. This surge is linked to the July 4 and 5 concert dates at the Principality Stadium, where occupancy is notably higher compared to last year’s 51.2% and 47.1%, respectively, for the same dates.

The trend is not limited to Cardiff; other cities hosting the tour, such as Manchester, Edinburgh, and Dublin, also see increased hotel bookings. Manchester’s highest anticipated occupancy is 67.0% on July 19, while Edinburgh and Dublin expect peaks of 73.6% and 74.5%, respectively, later in August.

STR’s regional director, Alexander Robinson, noted that such spikes are typical around major concert tours, with smaller markets often experiencing significant increases. He mentioned that while London does not show a comparable surge, this is consistent with past events due to its larger market size.

Following the European leg, Oasis will continue their tour in North America and South America, starting in Toronto, where current bookings for August 24 are at 44.7%. This global tour is expected to continue impacting local hotel industries, driving up occupancy rates as fans travel to see the band perform live.
