Actress and comedian Carol Burnett is an absolute legend. From her iconic days on The Carol Burnett Showin the 1960s and 1970s to her many film roles, this incredible lady has been making people laugh for decades.

Now 92 years old, it’s clear that Burnett hasn’t lost her spark, and if anything, she just keeps getting even more unforgettable. To celebrate her birthday yesterday, April 26, Stephen Colbert shared a clip from when she appeared on The Late Show in May of 2024. He told her, “Describe the rest of your life in five words.”

Just wait until you hear her answer. It’s nothing short of totally epic.

“I would like to live.”

People watching the clip couldn’t help but erupt into laughter just like the live audience did during her appearance! Honestly, we’d expect nothing less than a perfect response like this from Burnett.

One viewer perfectly stated, “Carol Burnett’s wisdom is truly timeless. Her impact on comedy will never be forgotten!”

Another person added, “Keep on living, Carol!!! We’ve lost too many icons! We need you! We need happiness in this world, and you are the definition of happiness!!! ❤️”

That statement is a true as it gets!

And another fan chimed in with, “She’s a gem! Happy Birthday Carol. 😘”

Here’s more of Burnett’s appearance with Colbert, where she took the famous “Colbert Questionert.” She’s simply the best!
