Charlie Puth is calling on Kanye West to stop selling a swastika shirt on his website, slamming the rapper for spreading an “incredibly dangerous” message.

On Feb. 9, West appeared in a Super Bowl ad for his brand Yeezy. Although the site featured a variety of products for sale on the day the ad was released, there was only one product for sale by Monday morning, according to The Hollywood Reporter: a T-shirt printed with a swastika.

Puth took to his Instagram Stories on Monday to plead with West to reconsider his behavior.

“The message you are sending out to the world is incredibly dangerous,” the singer-songwriter wrote.

“Please man, I beg you to stop,” he added. “You are selling a T shirt with a Swastika on it, and MILLIONS of people are influenced by you. Please I BEG you to stop, PLEASE.”

In the days leading up to the Super Bowl, West went on a number of antisemitic rants on X, writing messages such as “I LOVE HITLER NOW WHAT B—-ES,” “IM A NAZI,” and “Hitler was sooooo fresh.”

The Anti-Defamation League also responded to West’s recent actions in a statement on Monday.

“As if we needed further proof of Kanye’s antisemitism, he chose to put a single item for sale on his website—a T-shirt emblazoned with a swastika,” the statement read. “The swastika is the symbol adopted by Hitler as the primary emblem of the Nazis. It galvanized his followers in the 20th century and continues to threaten and instill fear in those targeted by antisemitism and white supremacy.”

“If that wasn’t enough, the T-shirt is labeled on Kanye’s website as ‘HH-01,’ which is code for ‘Heil Hitler,'” the statement continued. “Kanye was tweeting vile antisemitism nonstop since last week. There’s no excuse for this kind of behavior. Even worse, Kanye advertised his website during the Super Bowl, amplifying it beyond his already massive social media audience.”

West’s account on X was deactivated on Monday, though it’s not clear whether he was removed from the platform or left willingly.

Also on Monday, West’s agent, Daniel McCartney of 33 & West, announced that he was dropping Ye in an Instagram Stories post, as People reported.

“Effective immediately, I’m no longer representing YE (F/K/A Kanye West) due to his harmful and hateful remarks that myself nor 33 & West can stand for,” McCartney wrote.

On Tuesday, Feb. 11, a former marketing staffer for West sued him, alleging that he called her ugly and texted her “Hail Hitler” before firing her, according to Variety.

The staffer’s suit alleges that West targeted his Jewish employees with antisemitic comments on a regular basis, including text messages from the celeb to his staff reading “I Am A Nazi” and “Welcome to the first day of working for Hitler.”
