Chick-fil-A is coming to Alberta with two new locations expected to open before the end of the year!

Whether you have a hankering for a chicken sandwich, strips, or wrap, this beloved fast-food franchise is the epitome of comfort food. So naturally, you can bet we were excited to hear Chick-fil-A will be growing its presence in Alberta with two new locally owned and operated restaurants opening soon for dine-in, take-out and drive-thru service.

The majority of Chick-fil-A restaurants are owned and operated by one person, which means Chick-fil-A’s local Owner-Operators are small business owners who work in their restaurants alongside their Team Members.

New Openings in Alberta

Chick-fil-A will be opening one location in Calgary, and one in Edmonton, so bookmark their jobboards for when they start hiring!

To celebrate these openings, Chick-fil-A will donate about C$34,000 to Second Harvest, one of Canada’s largest food rescue organizations. Second Harvest works to reduce the environmental impact of food waste by redistributing surplus edible food from across the supply chain to non-profits throughout the country.

Construction on these new restaurants is nearly complete, which means if everything goes off without a hitch you could be eating tasty chicken sandwiches before the year is up.

Stay tuned and get your comfort food fix when they open!
