Choice Hotels International, Inc. has opened its 500th extended-stay property, Everhome Suites, in Glendale, Arizona, marking a significant milestone in the company’s expansion. As per the August 2024 STR Pipeline Data, the company boasts the fastest-growing economy extended-stay portfolio in the hospitality industry and leads in the new construction category.

By the end of Q2 2024, the company had over 350 hotels in the pipeline across its four extended-stay brands: Everhome Suites, WoodSpring Suites, Suburban Studios, and MainStay Suites. The extended stay properties cater to the growing demand for accommodations suitable for stays of 7 nights or longer, serving a demographic of workers on temporary assignments, among others.

The Everhome Suites in Glendale, located near various attractions and infrastructure projects, marks the brand’s entry into the Southwest’s high-growth regions. The property provides long-term lodging solutions for the area’s booming industries.

Choice has six Everhome Suites open across the U.S. and over 65 in the pipeline. The company aims to open more than 15 within the next 12 months. Moreover, WoodSpring Suites is projected to have 25 openings by year-end, and the company also opened 13 MainStay Suites and Suburban Studios between January and September 2024.
