Fans of the National Lampoon’s Vacation series were left feeling a bit verklempt after old friends Christie Brinkley and Chevy Chase reunited almost twenty years following the last film she featured in: 1997’s Vegas Vacation.

The pair filmed a super sweet video to promote her new memoir, Uptown Girl, and it was just like old times as the super model appeared next to him in an empty restaurant and sat down at his table. “My God, it’s you!” he exclaimed. “Will you sign my book?”

The two bantered back and forth as she made a big show of autographing his copy of her book.

A group shot from lunch, as well as a sweet snapshot of the co-stars leaning into one another, were also included.

“📖🍽️🤍,” the comedian captioned the sweet post.

Fans were completely obsessed with the reunion between “The BEST❤️🙌,” with several affirming that it “put a huge smile on my face.”

“How sweet!!!” one gushed, as another replied, “So wonderful to see you two together! Love ya both!”

“You both were the best together in the movie,” another complimented. “Glad you reunited ❤️.”

“You guys gave us some of the best movie scenes ever!” one follower agreed.

“Wish we could go back to those ‘good ole days,'” somebody else admitted. “thanks for the memories ☺️.”

“this makes my kid heart singgggggg 😢❤️👏,” another agreed.

Last summer, the pair reunited as well, evoking just over 40 years worth of nostalgia, seeing as the original Vacation film was released in 1983.
