Christoph Waltz is fully embracing his silver fox status, stepping out for his first photocall in nearly a year with a shock of white hair and a matching goatee.

The Inglorious Bastards star, 68, appeared at a press gathering for Frankenstein as part of the 82nd Venice International Film Festival in the Italian locale on Saturday, Aug. 30, where the new film made its world premiere.

Waltz posed in front of the festival’s step-and-repeat for plenty of photos, both solo and with some of his costars. He wore a black sports coat over a black V-neck top with a matching pair of trousers, and in one sweet photo, he shot a giddy smile toward the camera, his hand held up in a gentle wave.
