HFTP and Hospitality Upgrade have opened registration for the CIO Summit EMEA, scheduled for April 16–17 at W Amsterdam.
Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) and Hospitality Upgrade have announced the opening of registration for the CIO Summit EMEA, an invitation-only event set to take place April 16–17 at W Amsterdam. The event is designed for senior hospitality technology leaders from Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
The CIO Summit EMEA will feature programming on strategic technology topics relevant to the hospitality sector in EMEA. According to the organizers, the event will include sessions for attendees to exchange ideas and discuss developments in hospitality technology in a vendor-neutral environment.
The event is a branch of The CIO Summit from Hospitality Upgrade, which has previously hosted CIO-level networking events in North America.
A keynote presentation will be delivered by journalist and broadcaster Matthew Syed. His session, titled “Creating a High-Performance Culture in a Complex and Rapidly-Changing World,” will address the concept of growth mindset, its importance, and the relationship between resilience and growth mindset traits. This session is coordinated by 14IP, the Summit’s Platinum Sponsor.
The Summit’s agenda will also include sessions on topics such as adapting organizations to artificial intelligence, advances in technology for sustainability and profitability, and the role of hotel CIOs in shaping the technology landscape in the EMEA region.
In addition to the main programming, the event will offer networking opportunities. On the day before the official start of the Summit, attendees are invited to participate in an afternoon event at Circuit Zandvoort, sponsored by IRECKONU. The activity will give participants the opportunity to race on the circuit.
The following evening, attendees are invited to a canal cruise in Amsterdam, which will include dinner as the group travels through the city’s waterways.
Registration is currently open for eligible executives. Organizers state that space is limited to maintain the quality of interaction.
