City announces the return of Doors Open Guelph – Guelph

The public will have the opportunity to see the inside of some of Guelph, Ontario’s most famous and historic buildings.

Doors Open Guelph will return in 2023 after a three-year hiatus.

Nine sites will be participating on Saturday, April 29th from 10am to 4pm.

  • Guelph Water Works
  • Sikh Association Gurdwara
  • Muslim Society Mosque
  • Sleeman Brewery
  • Spring Mill Distillery
  • Locomotive 6167 and caboose of the Guelph Historical Railway Society
  • Dominion Public Building
  • Petrieville
  • Katton Kelly Building

Free guided tours, interactive experiences, and behind-the-scenes glimpses.

The night before Doors Open Guelph, the Guelph Museums will host Doors Open After Dark on Friday. Music performances, interactive art installations, and behind-the-scenes tours will take place on April 28 from 5:00 pm to 1:00 am.

Tammy Adkins, the city’s museum and cultural manager, says it’s a great opportunity to explore the fascinating site and learn about Guelph’s rich history and culture.
