Take a ride and hop on Edmonton’s renowned riverboat this summer!

For 30 years, the Edmonton Riverboat has been a local delight for both residents and those coming in from out of town. This delightful getaway takes guests aboard the boat known as the Edmonton Queen, where they can experience a delightful weekend brunch, dinner, or mesmerizing sunset cruise.

What to expect

The Edmonton Riverboat offers both buffet cruises and cruises without a buffet. With either option, guests will enjoy a 90-minute ride on the North Saskatchewan River.

Cruise tickets are available daily, so there’s always an opportunity to hop on board. On weekdays, they offer one evening ride per day, while on weekends, they offer both a morning and evening cruise.

With cruise tickets, food isn’t included, but Edmonton Riverboat offers an à la carte menu for those who have an appetite. In addition to its food menu, the riverboat features two bars on board, offering a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for purchase.

The riverboat buffet cruises have both brunch and dinner options, depending on what tickles your fancy. No matter the occasion, these ticket types include the cruise itself, as well as its famous brunch or dinner buffet.

Coffee, tea, and water are complimentary with every cruise, buffet or not. For those with food restrictions, it’s essential to note that the riverboat offers vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free options.

In addition to its buffet cruises and cruise tickets, a third type of ticket is also available. Occasionally, the Edmonton Riverboat will hold special events, each with its own offering, typically including food and some form of entertainment.

For example, Edmonton Riverboat is offering its recurring special event, Dueling Pianos on the Riverboat, this summer.

This special experience invites guests to step onto the riverboat and into their dining room, where two pianists on two pianos will duel against one another. During this spectacular show, it will be serving its famous dinner buffet, which guests are free to enjoy anywhere on the boat.

The next Dueling Pianos on the Riverboat event is on July 27. Two show dates will be held per month up until September.

Don’t miss out this summer. Get ready to step onto Edmonton’s Riverboat for an evening you’ll never forget!
