If you go searching for your favorite Coca-Cola products, you may be disappointed. The soda brand has recently discontinued two popular flavors.

Coca-Cola has introduced several limited-time flavors over the years, often as part of promotions, partnerships or seasonal offerings, and they don’t always last long. For example, Coca-Cola Starlight was part of the “Coca-Cola Creations” series and it had a slightly fruity and cooling taste with hints of cotton candy and vanilla. Then there was the Coca-Cola Cinnamon, Coca-Cola Orange Vanilla and Coca-Cola Georgia Peach, all of which were hugely popular before they were removed from the lineup.

Now, the soda company has taken away Coca-Cola Cherry Vanilla and Diet Coke with Splenda. Coca-Cola didn’t make an official announcement, but it did break the news on X (formerly known as Twitter).

“We decided to discontinue Coca-Cola Cherry Vanilla due to consumers’ taste preferences and lifestyles constantly changing,” Coca-Cola wrote on X. “As a Total Beverage Company, we are always searching for ways to evolve our product portfolio to bring consumers the beverages they want.”

Fans weren’t happy about this news.

“Been drinking Coke products the entirety of my 65 years. Cherry Vanilla is my absolute favorite of all time. Don’t know what they were thinking,” one X user said.

The separate Cherry and Vanilla Coke flavors are still available, though, so you may be able to mix the two for that Cherry Vanilla flavor, and you can still make one at Coca-Cola Freestyle machines.

A few days after the soda brand confirmed that it had given its Cherry Vanilla Coke the ax, the company once again took to X to announce more sad news.

“Unfortunately, Diet Coke with Splenda has been discontinued. We’re sorry for any disappointment,” the company wrote in response to a question about the soda’s limited availability.

Again, fans were disappointed by this unexpected news.

“Congrats on making me switch to pepsi. This was a huge fail on your part @CocaCola,” one X user wrote in response to the news.

And the disappointment may not stop there. Coca-Cola Spiced, which combines the flavor of Coca‑Cola “with a burst of refreshing notes from raspberry and spiced flavors,” is rumored to be discontinued, as well. People who work for the soda company have said that they’re no longer making it. We’ll keep an eye out for that news, too!
