SNL funnyman Colin Jost is finally speaking out on wife Scarlett Johansson’s steamy red-carpet kiss with Jurassic World co-star Jonathan Bailey.
Johansson and the Bridgerton heartthrob shared an intense lip lock on the red carpet that had some fans wondering if they were more than friends. Jost got real about his wife’s kiss, keeping his signature sense of humor intact—naturally.

Entertainment Tonight caught up with Colin Jost in Lake Tahoe this week at the celeb-heavy ACC Golf Tournament, which also featured the now-infamous Kelce Brothers karaoke performance. That’s when Colin spoke out about his reaction to his wife diving in for a major smooch with Bailey.
Jost said, “Of all the threats out there, I wasn’t thinking it was Jonathan,” Colin joked. “People really blew it out of proportion when someone like kisses their friend hello, it’s pretty nuts.”
Jost continued, feigning his own desire to kiss Bailey, joking, “Jonathan and I were at the red carpet and we’re like, ‘I guess we have to kiss now, is that what happens? Close the loop.'”
Jost’s reaction is scoring high marks from fans who love his down-to-earth and totally secure-in-his-marriage response.
