COMO Hotels and Resorts has announced the reopening of COMO Cordeillan-Bages, a 19th-century property in Pauillac, Bordeaux, scheduled for May 1, 2026.
COMO Cordeillan-Bages will reopen on Bordeaux’s Left Bank in collaboration with the Cazes family, owners of Château Lynch-Bages. The property, featuring 17th-century turrets, will offer 28 rooms and suites, including two COMO Suites. Italian designer Paola Navone, who previously worked on COMO Le Montrachet, is leading the renovation.
The hotel will include a restaurant, an outdoor 25-meter pool, a gym, and a sauna. Located in Pauillac at the heart of the Médoc region, COMO Cordeillan-Bages is near several renowned vineyards, including three of Bordeaux’s five First Growths. The partnership with Château Lynch-Bages will give guests access to exclusive experiences not generally available to the public.
This will be COMO’s third property in France, joining COMO Le Montrachet in Burgundy and COMO Le Beauvallon in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, which is set to open on April 24, 2026. COMO Cordeillan-Bages will operate seasonally from March to November, with rates starting from €350 per night in low season.
The hotel is located along the Route des Châteaux and is a six-minute walk from the village of Bages. The surrounding area features artisanal boutiques, a bistro, and access to other villages with independent shops, restaurants, and wine boutiques. The Médoc region includes vineyards and pine forests and is 30 kilometers from the Atlantic coastline.
