Without even knowing you that well, I can say with confidence that you’ve definitely had a few burgers in your lifetime. No, I’m not psychic (as far as you know), but the odds of you never having a burger before are slim to none. Sure, the humble hamburger might have been reduced down to a longstanding symbol of American cuisine, but if we’re being honest, burgers are actually German. Sorry to burst your bubble. Thus, we can deduce that if the burger isn’t as quintessentially American as we think it is, that increases the odds that you and someone from another country have more in common than you think.

There’s no arguing that the unassuming ground meat patty delicately positioned between two pieces of pillowy soft bread, topped with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, pickles, onions, ketchup, and mustard, has become a staple of backyard barbecue fare. And sure, there’s nothing better than an expertly made, lacy-edged smashburger hot off the griddle. But what if there was another way to up your burger game and elevate things beyond the typical standard of Americana we’ve come to expect?

Lucky for us, Costco has just the thing to take your Memorial Day burgers in a decidedly luxurious direction, and the good news is, you won’t have to travel all the way across the globe to get it. Thanks to the incredible reporting skills of @costcobuys, we’re on our way to grab a 15-Pack of 1/3-Pound Kirkland Signature Frozen Wagyu Beef Burger Patties, and we might not go back to regular beef ever again. If you’re not familiar, Wagyu beef is revered for its incredible marbling and high quality of flavor.

To produce the unctuous beefy upgrade, the cows are pampered and treated to a life of reduced stress to ensure they produce the highest quality beef possible. Because of the quality, some wagyu steaks can go for almost $250 per pound. The good news is, these burgers will only set you back $25.49 at Costco, saving you plenty of money in the long run. We can see why shoppers are saying, “I can’t wait to try!! 😍”

We know what kind of burgers we’ll be throwing on the grill this Monday. Consider us influenced.
