While every section of Costco comes packed with worthwhile retail options, there’s something particularly exciting about the warehouse brand’s extensive freezer aisles.
Offering an impressive array of convenient, ready-made dishes from quick and easy desserts to endlessly snackable appetizers, there’s always something to find when it comes Costco’s freezer section.
And fortunately, the brand is once again giving fans good reason to celebrate with the arrival of three new frozen products in stores across the country.
As per a new press release shared with us over email, Costco has just unveiled three new products from Synear Foods USA.
A fan-favorite brand known for their delicious Chinese food products, Synear Foods USA is looking for ways to deliver high-quality frozen food to shoppers in search of a good meal without the high price tag that comes with ordering out.
As the announcement said, “[Synear] is bringing authentic, restaurant-quality Asian comfort food to Costco freezer aisles that’s perfect for families who want to swap expensive takeout for something more affordable and with a bit more soul.”
To that end, the company is stocking three new dishes at Costco locations nationwide in the form of the following new frozen products:
- Custard-Filled Panda Buns: Modeled after the adorable animals that bear its name, these buns are filled with rich custard, affording shoppers a surprisingly sweet dessert option they might never have expected.
- Pork Soup Dumplings: Traditional porksoup dumplings, featuring tender pork, savory broth and a delicate wonton exterior.
- Persimmon-Shaped Sticky Rice Balls: Sweet and chewy sticky rice balls with flavor varieties coming in either black sesame or peanut.
As expected from an announcement as exciting as this one, Synear Food’s new lineup of Costco products has met with an altogether glowing response from fans across social media.
“My fav childhood brand,” one user shared on Instagram. “They look so juicy,” added another enthusiastic shopper.
“I need them to come back to Portland,” another account said. “I already ate my six bags.”
