Country Music Icon Gets Mixed Reactions After Unexpected Couples Photo

Country music superstar Billy Ray Cyrus and his girlfriend, actress Elizabeth Hurley, spent their first Christmas together in 2025. The couple went all in on the holiday cheer, dressing up in matching Christmas onesies and adding some Rudolph headbands to boot.

“Merry Christmas,” Hurley captioned a joint Instagram photo. The couple posed in their festive outfits, with Cyrus wearing a hood and flashing a smile underneath his disheveled hair.

Fans reacted to the photo in the comments section, and while many loved seeing the couple loved up on Christmas, others had other feelings.

Hurley, 59, and Cyrus, 63, started dating earlier in 2025 and went Instagram official on Easter Sunday.

“Happy Easter,” Hurley captioned a joint photo with Cyrus on April 20. In the snap, Hurley flashed a big smile as Cyrus kissed her cheek.

Back in October, a source shared that the couple was “going strong.”

“They’ve been together for more than six months now. Despite the skepticism, it was always real from the beginning. And they’re going strong,” a Hurley source told People magazine at the time. “They’re very different, but it works. They’re so cute together,” the source continued, adding, “It’s the kind of connection that surprises people but makes perfect sense when you spend time with them. Liz’s very happy.”
