The Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana announced that a new eight-story hotel tower will open in May at Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder, Louisiana, adding 204 guest rooms and 100 suites to the property.

The Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana will open a new hotel tower at Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder, Louisiana, in May. The eight-story expansion will add 204 guest rooms and 100 luxury suites, directly connected to the existing resort and located near the gaming floor, dining, entertainment, and other amenities.

With this addition, the resort’s total guest room count will exceed 1,000. The project involved TBE Architects, Yates Construction, and The Wenaha Group, who collaborated on the design and construction. Tribal leadership, resort executives, and development partners will mark the milestone with a formal grand opening celebration in May.

The new tower will create additional hospitality and operations positions. Since opening in 1995, Coushatta Casino Resort has become Louisiana’s largest casino resort, attracting visitors from Texas, Louisiana, and the Gulf South.
