Sheraton Phoenix Downtown has announced the appointment of Daryl Rhead as its new general manager. Rhead’s career with Marriott International began in 2004 in San Francisco, and he has held various leadership roles in finance and operations over the past two decades. His previous positions include vice president of global asset management and area director of finance for the Americas East Region.
Rhead’s experience includes senior finance roles at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center, the JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort & Spa, and the San Francisco Airport Marriott Waterfront. Most recently, he served as vice president of owner franchise services, where he worked on enhancing guest experiences and supporting franchise operations.
In his new role, Rhead will oversee hotel operations at Sheraton Phoenix Downtown, with a focus on guest experience and strategic initiatives.
