Dave Coulier provided fans with an update on his ongoing battle with stage 3 cancer during a recent episode of his Full House Rewind podcast.

The Full House star, who breaks down episodes of the beloved ABC family sitcom with co-host and fellow Full House alum Marla Sokoloff on the podcast, revealed his major health diagnosis last fall. As the 65-year-old explained during a November 2024 interview with People, he was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in October 2024. He began receiving treatment for the “very aggressive” cancer shortly after he was diagnosed.

“I’m feeling good,” the comedian said near the beginning of the podcast’s Friday, Jan. 10, episode. Coulier, who lost his hair while undergoing chemotherapy treatment, said it ”has not grown back at this time,” leaving him to come to the unexpected realization about “how much that hair keeps you warm” in the winter.

His cancer battle so far has been “kind of a roller coaster ride,” Coulier added. “The side effects have side effects, and then you take a drug to counteract that, and this and that.”

Coulier said his body is “in fight or flight mode” as he adjusts to the various treatments and side effects. “Your body’s in a fight,” he said. “It’s a little bit of an internal battle.”

Amid his health struggles, Coulier said he has “heard from so many people” who have shared their own cancer stories with him. “The words of encouragement have, I think, really helped people,” he said. “So that, to me, is worth the journey of all of this. And, you know, if I have to feel a little out of sorts for a few months, then so be it.”

Coulier also highlighted the importance of early detection and regular cancer screenings during Friday’s episode. “Early detection means everything for so many people. It can save your life, which is remarkable,” he said.
