UMusic Hospitality & Lifestyle has appointed David Kuperberg to its leadership team to lead development strategy and support expansion efforts across North America.
UMusic Hospitality & Lifestyle has appointed David Kuperberg to its leadership team. Kuperberg will lead the company’s development strategy and support expansion across North America, focusing on growing its portfolio and strengthening its presence in key markets.
Kuperberg most recently worked at Hyatt, where he contributed to the growth of Hyatt’s lifestyle portfolio following Hyatt’s acquisition of Dream Hotel Group in February 2023. Prior to the acquisition, he served as Chief Development Officer for Dream Hotel Group, overseeing the company’s development strategy and global expansion.
Earlier in his career, Kuperberg was Senior Vice President of Development at Virgin Hotels, where he guided the brand’s development pipeline during its early expansion. He began his hospitality career in 2004 as Senior Director of Mergers & Acquisitions at Wyndham Hotel Group, overseeing the acquisition of Ramada International from Marriott, a transaction involving more than 200 hotels and resorts worldwide.
In his new role at UMusic Hospitality & Lifestyle, Kuperberg will work with leadership and development partners to provide strategic guidance as the company explores opportunities in key markets. His responsibilities include identifying markets for potential growth, cultivating development partnerships, and supporting the company’s long-term development plans.
