They have been gushing over the relationship on social media. In a recent Instagram share, Vaughan and Moakler channeled the ’80s cult classic filmUrban Cowboy to give a relationship update.

Vaughan popped up in the comments section with his own Urban Cowboy reference: “Luv ya Sissy 😘.”
Not everyone understood the reference, so one fan explained it to them. “URBAN COWBOY Movie reference for those feeling grossed out. John Travolta & Debra Winger. Amazing 80’s movie with great soundtrack,” they wrote.

Fans were divided on the film reference because of the domestic violence featured in the movie. “My favorite love story! Urban Cowboy ❤️” and “I wouldn’t want my relationship to be like Bud and Sissy. Pure domestic violence” were some of the conflicting comments.
