First responders honor the flag draped remains of an unidentified victim recovered after an American Airlines jet collided with an Army helicopter at Ronald Reagan National Airport near Washington, D.C.

The jet was carrying 60 passengers and four crew members Wednesday night when the crash happened. Three soldiers were onboard the helicopter.

Officials confirm that passengers on the flight included a group of figure skaters, their coaches and family members who were returning from a development camp that followed the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Wichita.

The number of victims remains unclear.
