For many, visiting Disney is a dream in itself, but have you ever thought about working for Disney? You won’t even need to leave Toronto to get your shot at it, as auditions for the Disney Cruise Line are happening in our city next month.
According to the Disney Careers page, the auditions will take place on June 9 and 10, 2025.
The June 9 audition will be for mainstage dancers, starting at 10 a.m. at Studio North on Dupont Street. Just a few shows that dancers will be a part of if selected include Disney’s Tale of Moana, Beauty and the Beast, Tangled: The Musical, and Aladdin – a Musical Spectacular.
Dancers auditioning must be trained in ballet and jazz, with some roles requiring tumbling and tap.
On audition day, hopefuls must come prepared to check in between 9:30 a.m. and 9:55 a.m., be wearing appropriate dancewear, and be over the age of 18.
As for the June 10 audition, the female-presenting characters that need to be filled include Anna, Ariel, Belle, Black Widow, Captain Marvel, Cinderella, Cruella, Elsa, Gamora, Maleficent, Merida, Mirabel, Moana, Mulan, Ms. Marvel, Okoye, Princess Jasmine, Princess Tiana, Rapunzel, Rey, Snow White, Shuri, and Wasp.
The male-presenting roles include Ant-Man, Aladdin, Black Panther, Bruno, Captain America, Captain Jack Sparrow, Dr. Facilier, Doctor Strange, Flynn Rider, Hawkeye, Hiro, Kristoff, Loki, Peter Pan, Prince Charming, Prince Naveen, Shang-Chi, Star-Lord, Oaken, Spider-Man, and Thor.
Check-in is also from 9:30 a.m. to 9:55 a.m., and attendees must be over 18 and are asked to wear comfortable clothing.
If selected for either opportunity, rehearsals will take place in Toronto for six to eight weeks ahead of the six-month contract aboard the cruise ship.
