Bianca Censori and husband Kanye West had all eyes on them as they walked the red carpet at the 2025 Grammys on Feb. 2, with Censori wearing nothing but a sheer minidress that left little to the imagination.

Though the stunt was far from the first time Censori, 30, has been photographed wearing barely-there outfits in public, the pair’s appearance sparked conversation amongst fans and viewers about their relationship.

“In a healthy partnership, it’s normal for one partner to be a cheerleader for the other partner and to encourage them to face their fears and step out of their comfort zone, but the difference is, they’re encouraging their partner to pursue their own dreams and interests, there’s no selfish motivation,” relationship expert Nicole Moore, who does not know West and Censori personally, exclusively tells Parade. “It’s possible,” she notes, that the “motivation here was selfish.”

Moore goes on to tell Parade that in a balanced partnership, “both parties have a voice”—and that applies to relationships that aren’t just romantic.

“Even in a muse/artist dynamic, it’s only healthy if the muse has the ability to say no to the artist’s requests when they feel uncomfortable,” she says.

A source previously told Parade that Censori is the rapper’s “muse,” and that he had “picked out” her ensemble for their red carpet appearance.

“In a healthy muse/artist dynamic, the muse has agency and does not have to go along with whatever the artist wants,” Moore explains, “but in a romantic partnership, it would be easy for the muse to feel a sense of pressure to please their artist partner, even if it goes against their own values or interests.”

As for what kind of conversations should be happening behind the scenes in a healthy partnership, Moore says it’s important for both parties to outline what is comfortable for them, as well as “voice any concerns” they may have. She also notes it’s important for partners to communicate their appreciation for them and the “gift” of their presence.
