Dolly Parton has been a country music icon for decades, but the 79-year-old star isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
Over the past year, the “Jolene” songstress has introduced a cosmetics label, a line of frozen food, and her own brand of wine. She even announced an upcoming Broadway musical about her life. Now the star is coming out with a brand new book — and fans can’t wait.

“I’m so excited to finally share my new book with you, ‘Star of the Show: My Life on Stage!’” Parton wrote in an Instagram message on Thursday, April 17.
“This book is a celebration of my journey as a performer, filled with personal stories, cherished memories, and never-before-seen photos from more than seven decades on stage,” she continued. “‘Star of the Show: My Life on Stage’ will be out everywhere on November 11, and you can pre-order it now at the link in my bio.”
Parton went on to say that a “deluxe hardcover edition will also be available, featuring an exclusive cover and special photography prints — a little something extra for the fans who’ve been with me every step of the way!”
It was clear from the comments that Parton’s book is destined to be a bestseller.
