Domes Resorts has announced it will manage Cascade Wellness Resort in Lagos, Algarve, marking its second property in Portugal and third property outside Greece, through a partnership with Hotel Investment Partners (HIP).

Domes Resorts will manage Cascade Wellness Resort, a five-star property located on the cliffs of Ponta da Piedade in Lagos, Algarve. The resort is owned by Hotel Investment Partners (HIP), which is owned by funds managed by Blackstone and GIC. This marks Domes Resorts’ second property in Portugal and third property outside Greece.

Cascade Wellness Resort spans 38 hectares and offers 164 accommodations, with a design inspired by the Portuguese Age of Discoveries. Facilities include multiple pools, a spa, a fitness center, tennis courts, and FIFA-standard football pitches. The resort features four dining venues serving international cuisine and local Algarve flavors, as well as family-oriented amenities such as a kids club and football academy.

The property offers panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and is near Lagos, a destination known for its heritage, year-round mild climate, and beaches.

Domes Resorts’ management of Cascade Wellness Resort follows its previous entry into Portugal with Domes Lake Algarve, Autograph Collection. The agreement with HIP is part of Domes Resorts’ strategy to expand in Mediterranean destinations through partnerships with institutional investors.
