Drayton Entertainment gets $370K from federal tourism revitalization fund

On Thursday, the federal government announced it would donate a total of $370,661 to Drayton Entertainment to support tourism in Southern Ontario.

“Canada’s tourism sector continues to be one of the sectors most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Tourism Minister Randy Boissonault.

“We will work with businesses and organizations through these difficult times to ensure that they have the support to innovate, grow and thrive in their products and services while maintaining safety as a top priority.”

Funding from the Tourism Relief Fund will allow the company to develop a strategy to rebuild its audience, upgrade its facilities and put on additional live theater productions in the spring and fall.
