Dusit International has partnered with SYDEL to form a joint venture aimed at developing hotel properties in France.

Dusit International has entered into a strategic partnership with SYDEL, a French real estate investment firm, to create Dusit France. This joint venture is designed to introduce Dusit’s hotel brands to the French market. The agreement was formalized at a signing ceremony in Paris on July 10, 2025.

The collaboration will focus on identifying strategic locations for hotel development and supporting asset owners with repositioning projects. Dusit International’s portfolio includes nine hotel brands, ranging from lifestyle hotels to luxury retreats. The brands being considered for the French market include Dusit Thani, Devarana – Dusit Retreats, Dusit Collection, Dusit Hotels, dusitD2, Dusit Princess, ASAI Hotels, and Dusit Suites.

The joint venture aims to leverage SYDEL’s local expertise to facilitate the introduction of Dusit’s hospitality offerings in France. The partnership will explore innovative hotel concepts that emphasize guest experiences, well-being, and sustainable value creation.

Dusit International currently operates 294 properties in 18 countries, including 55 under Dusit Hotels and Resorts and 239 luxury villas under Elite Havens. In Europe, the company manages Dusit Suites Athens in Greece.

The signing ceremony in Paris was attended by representatives from both companies, including Gilles Cretallaz, Chief Operating Officer of Dusit International, and partners from SYDEL.
