Elden Ring Nightreign‘s new DLC, The Forsaken Hollows, launches officially on Dec. 4, bringing two new Nightfarers, a new Shifting Earth location, and plenty of new (and old) bosses to battle. And unlike virtually every other FromSoftware game, accessing the game’s DLC is surprisingly straightforward. But Nightreign players will have to reach a certain point in the game to access The Forsaken Hollows, the details of which publisher Bandai Namco revealed Tuesday.
For Elden Ring Nightreign players who have already exhausted the multiplayer survival game’s existing content, the arrival of The Forsaken Hollows will be a godsend — and they’re surely anticipating the exact minute they’ll be able to access the DLC. Bandai Namco has also confirmed release timing for Elden Ring Nightreign: The Forsaken Hollows, revealing when the DLC will go live worldwide.

How to access the Elden Ring Nightreign: The Forsaken Hollows DLC
There are two milestones players need to reach to unlock the new Nightfarers and the new boss Balancers — requirements that many Elden Ring Nightreign players will likely have already met at this point in the game.
To unlock the new Nightfarers, Scholar and Undertaker, players need to defeat Tricephalos, featuring the Nightlord boss Gladius, Beast of Night. After completing the Tricephalos expedition, head to the Roundtable Hold and speak with the Iron Menial, who has a message from the Small Jar Merchant.
To face Balancers, players need to defeat Tricephalos (Gladius, Beast of Night) and at least one other Nightlord. Players also need to have unlocked the Scholar and Undertaker. Once those conditions are met, visit the Small Jar Merchant. A new chapel location will open up behind the merchant’s location. From there, players will be able to take on the Shifting Earth event “The Great Hollows” and the expedition for Balancers.
How to purchase Elden Ring Nightreign: The Forsaken Hollows DLC
The Forsaken Hollows DLC costs $15, and can be purchased separately from the base version of Elden Ring Nightreign. The Forsaken Hollows is included as part of the Deluxe Edition version of Elden Ring Nightreign.
