Ellie Goulding recounts trauma of Sheeran-Horan allegation

Ellie Goulding says she’s experienced it with men she’s never dated.

“It’s interesting how many people are interested in it. It happened nine years ago,” she reportedly told the publication. It caused trauma.”

There was speculation at the time that Sheeran wrote the hit song “Don’t” in response to Goulding’s affair with a popular One Direction member.

In a 2015 interview with Elle UK, Golding tried to stop talking.

Goulding said at the time, “I’ve dated Niall a few times, but I’ve never dated Ed.” .”

After years of refusing to bring up the issue again, Golding recently commented on the issue on TikTok as a “mistake.”

“I think I was really drunk when I wrote it,” she told the Daily Mail.

Goulding also touched on her youth when she was in her early 20s, stating, “I envy my friends spending their 20s with flirts and one-night stands and going through each 20s in private. I will.”

“But everything I did was written,” she said.
