Riley Keough knows how to make a fashion statement.
The beloved actress and granddaughter of Elvis Presley, 36, worked the red carpet like a pro at a photocall for Jay Kelly during the 82nd Venice International Film Festival on Thursday in Italy. Directed by Noah Baumbach, Jay Kelly tells the story of a famous film actor, played by George Clooney, who is accompanied on a journey through Europe by his devoted manager, Ron, played by Adam Sandler. The film also stars Laura Dern and Billy Crudup, both of whom joined the cast on the red carpet.
While most of the star-powered squad was present on the red carpet, it was Keough’s unusual look that had us intrigued by her fashion prowess. The actress paired a black dress that looked as if it could double as a parka with chic black sunglasses and subtle silver hoops. Highlighting her long legs with black heeled sandals, the button-down coat also featured heart-shaped emblems on the pockets. The beauty stole the show with the unusual outfit!

Did Riley Keough’s Parents Want Her to Become an Actress?
Despite fame running in the family, Keough’s parents, Lisa Marie Presley and singer Danny Keough, did their best to talk her out of it.
“I felt like I was getting into something that could go terribly wrong. [My mum] would say to me, ‘If you’re going to do this, you have to be so good at what you do, or else nobody’s going to take you seriously, you’re not going to get any jobs and it’s going to be embarrassing,'” Keough told Elle UK last year. ‘You don’t want to be an embarrassing celebrity kid! She ingrained that into me and my brother so deeply.”
However, Keough made it clear how badly she wanted to pursue acting, and eventually went for it. But when it comes to the topic of nepotism, she makes it clear she understands things have probably been easier for her.
“I’m sure being Elvis’s granddaughter has made it easier for me to get an agent, to have meetings and all this stuff, when I started out. I know there’s so much nepo-baby stuff at the moment [and] I certainly acknowledge that aspect of the privilege of coming where I come from. I’m not an idiot! I’m aware of privilege in an acute way,” she added.
Jay Kelly will hit select theaters on November 14, followed by a global release on Netflix on December 5.
