LISTEN TO THE PLUGGED IN SHOW, EPISODE 265
Probably most of you have a favorite Christmas movie. You might have two or three Christmas flicks that you watch every year. But have you ever thought about why you love that movie—be it It’s a Wonderful Life, or Elf, or The Muppet Christmas Carol—ever so much?
On this week’s Plugged In Show, we take a deep dive into those ever-so-special Christmas movies. We namecheck some of our favorites and unpack just why we love them so. And what about the movies that didn’t make the cut? We’ll explore why they landed on our naughty list.
And while we’re talking about favorite movies, plenty of people might say that The Lion King is one of theirs—be it the 1994 original or the 2019 remake. Well, Disney knows how much people love their lions. It knows how much it loves the money Lion King movies make, too. So it’s offering us a prequel now. It’s called Mufasa: The Lion King, and it tells us how Simba’s dad became such a big deal.
And you know who else is a big deal? You! For Christmas, why not give Plugged In a gift—of your time and opinions! Tell us what your favorite Christmas movie is and why you like it so much. Are you planning to see Mufasa? Will it be one of your “mane” holiday outings? Let us know on Instagram and Facebook. Write us a note via team@theshow.com. You can even leave us a voice message on The Plugged In Show homepage.
And then be sure to listen to us again next week, when we unpack the year that was 2024—at least the year in entertainment and technology, that is.
