Wizards of the Coast unveiled seven new Magic: The Gathering sets on Sept. 26, but that’s not all. At a separate preview panel later that day, the Secret Lair team took to the main “Mana Stage” at MagicCon Atlanta to reveal some very cool new drops. The unveiled cards include a new team-up between Secret Lair and PlayStation, along with a handful of reprinted cards featuring images of Dwight Schrute from The Office (yes, seriously).

However, the most exciting card of the bunch arguably comes from a Secret Lair featuring the art of Kieran Tanner and a stunning new variant of the popular card Demonic Tutor, which currently goes from $40-$50 on the resale market and has never been reprinted by Secret Lair before. Check out the new card (and the rest of this drop, all reprinted cards from Alpha) in this gallery.

Horrified? Me too. Thankfully, that’s it for Secret Lair’s Secret Scare drops. However, we’ve still got a few more things to share.

Secret Lair — DanDan deck

In perhaps the biggest surprise of the Secret Lair panel, the team announced plans to release an official DanDan deck. If that word means nothing to you, DanDan is a different way to play Magic developed by Nick Floyd in which two people play using the same mono-blue deck. The only creature is a fish called DanDan, while the rest of the deck is full of instant and sorcery spells designed to interfere with your opponent’s plan and manipulate the top of your shared deck. It’s exciting to see this fan-made format get a stamp of approval from Wizards (even if the original creator apparently wasn’t involved).

The Secret Lair DanDan does not yet have a release date or price.

Secret Lair — Countdown Kit

Finally, we’ve got this new Countdown Kit, which features 26 individually wrapped cards (one for each letter of the alphabet). We only got to see two of them at the panel, but they both look great.
