PVNG is Aptech’s next-generation accounting solution that brings simple menu structure and easy-to-navigate architecture to hotel clients across North America. PVNG was designed for the hospitality industry and engineered to be flexible to accommodate a variety of deployment options. It is cloud-based and can easily handle both single and multi-property accounting.
Report Scheduler
One of the most highly anticipated new features in PVNG is its report scheduler. This powerful tool allows users to access any report within the system and distribute it automatically on a set schedule. For example, users can schedule daily reports to be delivered each morning to department managers, as well as distribute trial balances toward month end and departmental P&L statements after the month-end close to support expense review and financial oversight.
Broadcast Messaging
Another popular enhancement in PVNG is the system’s broadcast messaging feature. This allows organizations to send messages to users that display during a defined date range. General announcements can be used to notify users of planned system maintenance or other important updates. Additionally, organizations can configure pop-up messages that appear upon login and require user acknowledgment, ensuring that critical information is seen before the message can be dismissed.
Greater Accuracy and Compliance
The Accounts Payable module now includes an additional step in the invoice workflow, requiring manager approval before invoices can be posted and scheduled for payment. This added layer of control helps ensure greater accuracy and compliance. Organizations can also set approval thresholds based on invoice amounts, allowing for more tailored oversight. These enhancements provide a more structured and transparent process for managing payables, giving users greater confidence in each step from submission to payment.
Quick Switching
PVNG users now have a convenient drop-down menu that enables quick switching between companies directly within the same menu item. This eliminates the need to log out and back in, helping teams access and review data across multiple companies more efficiently and enhancing overall productivity.
Quicker Access to Accurate Data
Aptech’s PVNG module is known for its easy-to-use features and clear view of financial and operational data across a property or a full portfolio. These new features in PVNG Release 1.13 are offering quicker access to accurate data and helping to further optimize productivity for many hotel properties.
